event happened in downtown Los Angeles last weekend and KLEAN Cafe was on hand passing out free coffee.

We had such a great time. What an amazing event. We met so many people from all over southern California that came out to donate their time to raise money and awareness about lung disease, health and air quality.

The Fight For Air Climb starts at the bottom of the AON skyscraper and goes all the way to the roof, which encompasses 63 flights of stairs or 630 steps! The Los Angeles Fire Department Members of Recruit Class 142 were in full firefighting gear as they took the stairs all the way to the top! As a team, they raised more than $10,000 to help those affected by lung disease, a subject close to the hearts of all firefighters who have to protect themselves from smoke inhalation as an occupational hazard.

The Fight For Air Climbs are the largest make a significant impact on those affected by lung disease. The funds they raise support research, education and patient programs to help the millions of Americans impacted by asthma, COPD, lung cancer, air pollution and other lung diseases.

It was great to see the sense of accomplishment on everyone’s faces that completed the climb and we always like to jump at the opportunity to be of service to other non-profit organizations and spread awareness and hope about recovery.
